How NFC works
NFC uses the same technology as contactless payment. The customer holds an unlocked phone near the card and the link opens. No camera, no app.
How QR codes work
A QR code is scanned with the phone camera. It works on almost every smartphone, including older models without NFC.
Why use both
NFC is faster, QR is universal. Putting both on one card means every customer can leave a review, whatever phone they carry.
